I got so caught up in getting ready for Thanksgiving that I completely spaced that yesterday was knitting day! I did get a lot of good knitting time in this week though so here we go...

I finally made it to the yellow portion yeay!! One tip I've learned when switching colors is to start weaving in the tail of the new color at least 5 stitches before the switch. To do this just wrap the tail of the new color over your yarn before you knit in-between each stitch. It's hardly noticeable on the inside and invisible to the outside and you don't have to tie any knots. If you're a loose knitter you can start 10 or more stitches early just to make sure it's not going to pull out if you're making something extra stretchy. I'm hoping to get up to the decreases by the end of next week, but till then it's just knit knit knit..

I've finished another rectangle and only have a couple left before I start the next round. It's looking so nice I hope it doesn't end up being too bulky for her little head.
